Easily one of my favorite albums. I mean of all time. For some reason, Dolphy's "Out to Lunch" keeps jumping in my head when I listen to this, although this album sounds almost nothing like that one. I think the connection is this: when I heard "Out to Lunch" for the first time, I had an overwhelming feeling that music would stay with me my entire life. I have the same feeling about this album.
